There are so many outdoor things to see and do it are hard to begin. Depending on the time a year there are many different things to do.

In the winter cross country skiing and snow shoeing can be done from the property. There is also a groomed and tracked course at the Mountain Shadows, which is located nearby. Go right on Blankenship Road and take the first right on Rabe Road. At the top of the hill is Mountain Shadows. You can also take a trip into Glacier National Park. They have great cross country and snowshoe trails. If you are into alpine skiing Big Mountain is a short distance from Whitefish and offers excellent downhill skiing.

In the spring the white water rafting, kayaking and canoeing is great. Contact Montana Raft and mention our name when you do. Heather is a guide in the summer for this company. 

The summer is my personal favorite in the Flathead because there is so much to do. Here is a short list of summer fun.

·         You can hike in the Park. There are too many spectacular hikes to mention them all but, if to talk to Montana Raft they also do guided hikes. On the other hand, if you are adventurous ask Heather or Steve where the best hikes are, Heather and Steve have hiked hundreds of miles in the Park.

·         Golf. West Glacier is only a short drive. It ids located at West Glacier.

·         Water ski

·         Fish

·         Horseback

·         Mountain Bike
